Menu 15% Import Duty on Petrol Would Have Increased Petrol Price by N130/Litre – PENGASSAN Posted by Thandiubani on Fri 14th Nov, 2025 – tori.ng Share this news: President of PENGASSAN, Festus Osifo, made this revelation on Thursday during an interview on Arise Television. The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN has revealed that if 15% import duty on petrol and diesel had been implemented, petrol price would have increased by at least N130. The revelation was made by President of PENGASSAN, Festus Osifo on Thursday during an interview on Arise Television. Recall that the Nigerian Government suspended the implementation of a 15 per cent import duty on premium motor spirit and automotive gas oil.
